Top 3 Paint.NET Tips

 Hi!

In this post, I will be giving out my Top 3 tips on how to become a Paint.NET Master!

Although, Paint and Paint.NET sound very similar they are different in the functions and strategies you could potentially use. To download this software go to: Paint.NET - Download (getpaint.net). You could get it of Microsoft Store but this would cost money and I am assuming you would spend it wisely.

Paint.NET is a photo editor allowing you to change the brightness, focus, blur etc.

Although it may seem easy it requires lots of concentration and dedication so if you are in a rush or not enthusiastic to learn this skill this post or software if simply not for you. I do encourage young and inspired photographers or designers to use this software as a beginner. Photoshop has a wider range of functions and it is laid out professionally and conveniently. Although it would be jumping in the deep end if you used Photoshop first. I will discuss this software below.

Top tips:

1. Set yourself an end product - This could be having it in your mind or having a rough sketch in front of you. It is not necessary or practical  to not plan your work and only improvise because you will find yourself lost!

2. If you our practicing using Paint.NET do not use a already edited picture. This will overdo it and you will not end up with what you expected.

3. Don't keep ignoring the notices. Go and learn it and don't avoid it. I did this at first but it did not work at all. You need to have some beginner skills.

Photoshop

Photoshop is not free and can be difficult at times although I do suggest Photopea (a free website which I will link in the comments)  after using Paint.NET reliably and comfortably which I would recommend around 3 weeks after learning Paint.NET or when you are confident to move up.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you would like to please comment your pictures. I would really appreciate it.  If you haven't already remember to subscribe and follow this blog and get email notifications for when I post new posts.

  1. Hi! If you are considering to move up a level to Photopea here is the link: https://www.photopea.com/ . If you enjoy this I would recommend Photoshop although this would be for some time after practicing photopea.
